On Dec. 12th, Mr. Ashok Mahapatra, Senior Deputy Director of Maritime Safety Division, IMO, on behalf of Mr. Koji Sekimizu, Secretary-General of IMO, attended the Naming Ceremony of the New Training Ship of Shanghai Maritime University. The training ship of the Shanghai Maritime University is a 48000 DWT Bulk Carrier built by the university itself and it is the most advanced and best-equipped vessel of its kind by so far.
