Successful completion of the 2013-2014 English Language programme in Novorossiysk, Russia

The 100 hour course, which is funded by the IMTT, trained around 120 cadets in elementary and pre-intermediate levels of written and spoken English. Using modern methods of facilitation, the course aims to give the students the language skills that they will require as an officer; to be able to communicate within a multi-national crew and with shoreside personnel. The course was re-commenced in Novorossiysk in 2013, together with further courses in Petrozavodsk in Russia and in Batumi in Georgia.
