Dr. Prof. Jin Yongxing meeting with Mr. Ashok Mahapatra, Senior Deputy Director of Maritime Safety Division of IMO

On Dec. 12th, Dr. Prof. Jin Yongxing met with Mr. Ashok Mahapatra, Senior Deputy Director of IMO Maritime Safety Division in Shanghai. Dr. Prof. Jin firstly expressed deep appreciations to Mr. Mahapatra for his constant support for IMLA in the past. He then reflected on the recently participated IMO meetings from which IMLA and its representatives have learned and been benefited in many ways. Mr. Mahapatra acknowledged IMLA’s long-standing contributions to maritime education and training, and expressed his hope that IMLA would show up in an even wider range of maritime affairs around the international community.
