Dr. Prof. Jin Yongxing Met with Mr. Koji Sekimizu, Secretary-General of IMO

During the visit at World Maritime University for WMU Graduation 2012 in early December, Dr. Prof. Jin Yongxing, Chair of IMLA met with Mr. Koji Sekimizu, Secretary-General of IMO and WMU’s Chancellor. During the meeting, Dr. Prof. Jin Yongxing briefed on the latest development of the Association in the past year and particularly pointed out IMLA’s recent involvements in IMO activities as a NGO in consultative status. Mr. Sekimizu expressed high expectations of greater participation and contribution of the Association in IMO affairs for the upcoming years.
