Prof. Park Han-il, President of Korea Maritime University Visited SMU

On November 2nd, Prof. Park Han-il, President of Korea Maritime University (KMU) and another two guests from KMU visited SMU. Prof. Huang Youfang, President of SMU and leaders of relevant departments gave the guests a warm reception.
Prof. Huang Youfang, President of SMU briefed the guests on the basic information about SMU. He expressed that SMU and KMU had been long-term partners with each other and the two sides had similar curriculum structure. He hoped that this visit could facilitate the two sides’ cooperation in the near future.
Prof. Park Han-il, President of KMU expressed that it had been his first visit to SMU since he assumed the position at the beginning of the year 2012. He said that the teaching and experimental equipment of SMU were impressive and he conveyed his strong eagerness to enhance cooperation with SMU.
During the visit, the guests also visited COSTAMARE Engine Room Integrated Laboratory as well as other teaching and experimental equipment of SMU.
